The wife of the UCSB chancellor was apparently involved in a car accident on Tuesday

ISLA VISTA, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers responded Tuesday afternoon to a traffic accident on the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, that may have involved the wife of a high-ranking university official.

The CHP log states that the driver of the Buick LaCrosse is the wife of the university president and that UCSB was unable to handle the incident “due to a conflict of interest.”
